About us

We are here to help parents raise happy and healthy children

Abuja’s latest and greatest education establishment is owned and managed by The Regent Schools, Abuja!

Situated in Abuja, the school boasts state-of-the-art facilities and sporting provisions on extensive grounds. We pride ourselves on our strong pastoral ethos that maintains a personal family feel.

Abuja World Academy delivers on every level – academics, the arts, sporting prowess and with a wide offer of cultural activities our pupils are ready for the world beyond school. With the Cambridge International curriculum that spans Music to Computing, Forest School to Physics, pupils are encouraged to make connections and be free thinkers.

Beyond Abuja World Academy

With a collection of high-quality, high-grade IGCSEs our students will be able to choose their pathway: this includes direct entry to Foundation degrees in the UK and beyond. Many of the world’s top universities offer courses and support mechanisms to international students over the age of 16 with a suitably robust set of IGCSE results.

Students may also opt to go on to study the Cambridge A level course in the United Kingdom or in Nigeria before proceeding to universities around the world. They may also go on the enrol in Nigerian universities.

Ms. Juliet Goje

Head of Primary

Working within the Regent Group of Schools for over 12 years has given me the opportunity to grow through various stages of teacher development and school leadership.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have worked across multiple levels as a Class Teacher, Key Stage 1 Coordinator, Head of KS1 and KS2, Deputy Head of School, and now Head of Primary. These roles have shaped my understanding of what effective teaching, strong leadership, and child-centred education truly look like.

I also serve as the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Reading Lead for Read Write Inc., roles I hold with great responsibility. They allow me to ensure that safeguarding, literacy, and pupil wellbeing remain central to everything we do in the Primary and Early Years. I bring with me a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our school’s values and identity, as well as a clear vision for nurturing confident, well-rounded learners.

Teaching is not just a profession to me. It is the essence of who I am and something that influences my daily life and leadership. As Head of Primary and Early Years, I am committed to creating a safe, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment where every child is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibility

Cultivating kindness and understanding, nurturing a community where everyone feels valued and supported through compassion and empathy.

We aspire to be one of the best schools in the world, inspiring learners of all ages to lead with conviction and effect positive change globally.
